D.I.Y No Sew Hair Bow

Hey everyone, today I'm going to show you how to make a hair bow accessory. The best thing about this DIY is that it requires no sewing, whatsoever!! :)

What you will need:
A glue gun
Cotton Material
Iron
A ruler
Tailors chalk or a pencil
Sandwich ties or pipe cleaners
Old hair clips or bobby pins
&
a pair of scissors

Instructions:
Start of with cutting out your fabric 30 cm by 12cm

Then cut another strip that is 3cm by 15cm

On the main piece of material, iron over 1cm of fabric on the longest parallel side, this is so it won't fray

Fold the strip of fabric to the size you would like, mine is 1cm wide, feel free to adjust seen as you aren't gluing this part

Next fold the biggest piece of fabric over on both sides so they have a cm overlap in the middle

Iron it again so it is flat

Pinch the fabric in the middle and the gather it up in a fan like way

Put the sandwich tie around the middle of the bow

Next put some glue on the front of the bow and place the strip of fabric on the top wrap the cotton around the back of the bow and chop of any excess fabric

Glue the ends together

Then glue any other parts of the bow that you think might fray

Lastly glue your chosen hair clip to the back of the bow (make sure you have made it very secure, you don't want it to fall off!)

There you have it, a new cute and cheap hair accessory that can look anyway you want :)

Let me know if you tried it out and what material did you use?

Stila 'In the Light' Palette Review

Hello everyone, hope you are having a lovely day!

Today, I am going to review the Stila 'In the light' eye shadow palette. This palette has 10 different eye shadows 6 glittery shades and 4 matte shades. Plus there is a Smudge Stick Waterproof Eye Liner in Damsel within the palette also. For all this it costs £25.00, you can purchase it here.

The first thing I love about this palette is that it has all the neutral colours that I would use on a day to day basis! Plus all the eye shadows are super pigmented. I also love how the matte colours have a creamy soft texture. My favourite colours from this palette are Kitten and Ebony. Kitten is very very pigmented and looks great as a eye base or as a highlight and Ebony deepens and defines your eyes. The Smudge Stick eye liner is absolutely amazing it is very pigmented and very easy to apply. I love it because, once you apply the eye liner it doesn't slide down your face like some eye liners can, it doesn't budge one bit!

I defiantly think if you are looking for an everyday eyeshadow palette, this would be perfect, especially as you are getting 10 amazingly good quality eye shadows and a great eye liner, all for £25.00.

If you have this palette already let me know what you think of it?

Cute Little Haul

Hello Lovelies,
Today I went shopping and I picked up a few items and I really wanted to show you them...

To start with I popped in to Liz Earle to get a new Hot Cloth Cleanser (I am definitely converted and I love this product) seen as my old one ran out. Here you can buy the Liz Earle Starter Kit, which is the one I bought as shown here...

Also as it's my Mum's birthday soon, my Dad bought her the new set from Liz Earle which has the Hot Cloth Cleanser, a Muslin Cloth, the Skin Tonic, the Moisturiser and a Sheer Skin Tint. You see I'm trying to convert her to Liz Earle (I think it might be working!).

Next, I went in to Jack Wills to see what they had in the sale. I love going to Jack Wills when they have a sale on, but usually i get to excited and end up bankrupting my purse, however I was well restrained today. The first item was these super comfy sweatpants that are a dream to snuggle up in to...

...then I got this Jack Wills shopping bag that would be handy for lots of things.

See you soon

My July Favourites

Good Morning lovelies,

So today I'm going to go through my July favourites.

Just a brief overview on the month of July; I have been enjoying not wearing a lot of make up; I have loved my skin care routine this month and it's summer so I'm really happy! :)

To start with I have been loving this Loreal Matt and Messy salt spray. It gives my hair a lovely tousled and textured style. Plus this product gives a shine free finish unlike some other salt sprays. I love that it gives extra lift for when you want that sexy beach look.

This Witch Foaming Face Cleanser works a dream for the hot and sticky days in the summer. It keeps control of oily skin types and is a refreshing face wash for normal/combination skin. I can't wait to buy and try out more products from Witch.

Throughout July I have been wearing nail polish a lot more but my favourite polish has been the Rimmel I <3 Fruities lasting finish in 025 Strawberry Fizz. You only need 2 coats to get the true colour and the polish is scented once dried. It smells like strawberry shortcake (double bonus). Plus it looks great with a tan!

This month I jumped on the bandwagon and purchased my first bottle of Bioderma. I completely understand why everyone raves about this product, it's amazing. For those of you who don't know what Bioderma is, it is a water based make up remover that is French (it takes your eye make up and face make up off super quick). I love it!
