What have I been loving this month?....

Hello my sugarplum fairies, how are you all? I hope you are having amazing weeks, today I'm going to show you my favourites this month (rather than calling it 'My June favourites' I decided to call it 'What I have been loving this month' which means I don't have to do make the effort of doing favourite posts every month :) anyways, lets jump in!

So first things first, I have been loving this perfume from body shop, it was limited addition and from quite a while ago so I don't know if you can still purchase it anymore, but I think it is a lovely summer fragrance!

Then I have been using my Mac Mineralize Skin Finish everyday all month and have been enjoying it every single time I use it! It feels so lovely like I'm not even wearing make up which is really good :)

I have been loving freshly picked flowers from the garden this month and thought I would tell you about it even though it isn't a beauty favourite but these items are genuinely things I have been enjoying. I took the picture at the start when I was out on a walk!

How has your June been?

Tissue paper flower

Hello, in my previous Blog post I shared some ideas for wrapping Christmas presents, but today I wanted to show you how to make these really simple and easy flowers to liven up any gift...

You will need:
tissues paper
scissors
elastic band or lunch bag tie
cello tape
mini stapler

Instructions:

Start by cutting out the tissue paper in to rectangles. Try out different sizes until your happy make sure you have about 6 to 8 sheets together.
Next fold the sheets altogether as if you were making a fan. One side, fold, flip, the other side, fold, flip etc.
Then use the elastic band or lunch tie to hold the middle.
Pull one side of the tissue to the other side and staple once, like so...

Pull one or two sheets of tissue up to create a crinkled effect. Do this until you have a voluptuous tissue flower.

I hope you had a great day!

DIY Mini Stocking Tree Decoration

Hey guys, today I'm going to show you how to create this really sweet Christmas stocking:

You will need...
Red felt
White cotton material
Embellishments (ribbons, buttons, felt, lace)
Material scissors
A sewing machine or a needle and some thread
Template of a stocking
Instructions

1.    Start by cutting the two stocking pieces out of red felt and the two stocking pieces of white cotton. Here is the template I used

2.    Then choose what design you would like to put on to your stocking, I chose some lace, a bit of red ribbon and a few buttons.

3.    Sew your design on to a piece of red felt

4.    Next place your designed stocking piece face up on top of the two white pieces of cotton and the back of the stocking at the bottom (it will look a bit like a sandwich).

Then sew half a cm around the edge of the stocking with sewing machine or use a needle and
thread.
At the top of the stocking only sew one piece of felt with one piece of white fabric like so..
5.    Then attach either so string or a little bit of ribbon so you can hang it on the Christmas tree.

6.    Remember you can adjust the sizes of the stockings if you fancy!

Let me know if you made this decoration?

My Autumn Wishlist

Hey guys hope you are all well and enjoying November, I can't believe Christmas is next month eek!

Recently, I've been having a bit of a 'bloggers block' and haven't really been inspired to write anything. However, I decided to create a Autumn/Winter Wish list seen as I am snuggled up inside and just fancied collaging together a few items that will hopefully inspire some of you...

My August Favourites

Hey everyone, its that time of the month again where I share with you my FAVOURITES (Oooo). Last month, I loved quite a few beauty things and I was saving every last bit of the Summer seen as Autumn and Winter are just around the corner. I can't wait! :)

Okie dokie, so my first favourite is the Maybelline Baby Lips. These products were actually a new favourite, however I just couldn't resist not putting these amazing lip balms in my favourites. In my opinion my favourite out of the two is pink punch because it has a lovely tint of pink!

Last month, I wore this Red Roses Cologne from Jo Malone mostly everyday. It has a very clean and sheer fragrance that reminds me so much of my holidays.

Next up is the Barry M Hi-Shine Nail Paints, the one I've been loving is called Blue Grape. It is a gorgeous deep royal blue colour with a extra glossy finish and it looks lovely on toes.

Lastly my music crush of August was defiantly Gabrielle Aplin because her voice is really quirky and I love her style. My favourite song by Gabrielle is Panic Cord, have a listen...

Let me know what your favourite song was last month?
