What have I been loving this month?....

Hello my sugarplum fairies, how are you all? I hope you are having amazing weeks, today I'm going to show you my favourites this month (rather than calling it 'My June favourites' I decided to call it 'What I have been loving this month' which means I don't have to do make the effort of doing favourite posts every month :) anyways, lets jump in!

So first things first, I have been loving this perfume from body shop, it was limited addition and from quite a while ago so I don't know if you can still purchase it anymore, but I think it is a lovely summer fragrance!

Then I have been using my Mac Mineralize Skin Finish everyday all month and have been enjoying it every single time I use it! It feels so lovely like I'm not even wearing make up which is really good :)

I have been loving freshly picked flowers from the garden this month and thought I would tell you about it even though it isn't a beauty favourite but these items are genuinely things I have been enjoying. I took the picture at the start when I was out on a walk!

How has your June been?

Gifts for anyday of the year No.1 Felt Fourtune Cookie....

Hi Everyone! I know it's after Valentines Day and I said I was going to show you some other little projects related to it, but instead I thought about it and decided that I wanted to show you some little cheap and easy gifts you can make to brighten someone's day, any day of the year!
Firstly, I'm going to show you how to make these Felt Fortune Cookies with customisable messages...

You will need:
Felt
Paper
Scissors
Hot glue gun
bendy wire
pens or pencils
Step 1: Cut out the felt in to circles and cut a rectangle that would fit the diameter of the circle.

Step 2: Next cut some paper strips out and write cute little messages on them
Step 3: Then measure a little bit of wire that fits the diameter of the circle and glue it on with hot glue
Step 4: Glue the rectangle piece of felt on to the piece of wire like so..
Step 5: Place the message inside and fold the circle like this (BEWARE: It can be a little tricky to get the hang of, but you'll get there in the end)
Step 6: You can either just give one for a special someone or make loads and give them to all your best friends...
Have Fun

5 Tips for a Stress Free Christmas

Is the idea of Christmas stressing you out?...well, here are a few tips to help you have a stress free time:

1. Think ahead

Know how many days you have left and plan different tasks to do each day, so that it's not a last minute panic.
2. Ask people what they want
Don't waste hours thinking of what to buy people, it's easier just to ask!
3. Shopping Online
Shopping from home avoids the crazy Christmas crowds and can save money at the same time.
4. Don't look for perfection
Nothing ever will be perfect so just relax and enjoy the Christmas spirit.
5. Make it fun
You can have so much fun making your own tree decorations, baking and watching Christmas movies.

This is what our Christmas Tree looks like this year

Lots of love

Easy Decorations for Gingerbread

Oh hey there, I hope you're enjoying Blogmas so far! The other day I baked some gingerbread and decided to finish them off today by decorating them in three easy and fast ways.

You will need:
Gingerbread (homemade or bought)

To make a small batch of icing you will need:
1 large egg white
230g of icing sugar
1tsp lemon juice
food colouring (various)
Suggested decorations:
Smarties, chocolate drops and sprinkles

Biscuit Frosting
1. Beat together the egg white, the lemon juice and the icing sugar until the frosting is stiff (like meringue).
2. Then place the icing into a zip lock bag and push the mixture to one corner. Snip a very small triangle off the bag.
3. Next pipe a border around the outside edges of the biscuit.
4. Let it dry

Here are the three designs:

Unique Advent Calendar

Hello there, I hope your having a super day! So, for the past few years I have become more and more annoyed with the usual cheap chocolate advent calendars (which are great don't get me wrong who doesn't like eating chocolate everyday) but I thought to myself what if you could make one?  My mum and I looked on Pintrest and Tumblr for inspiration. In the end my mum came up with the idea of using an old pin board for the base and used other around the household materials for the rest. However, for the fillings she bought little chocolates and made little decorations to put on the tree. I don't know what else she has in store for the rest of advent, she wanted to keep it a surprise. I'm sure it's going to be great!

Here is what it looks like...

Let me know in the comments what you're getting for Christmas??

Hello everybody, I hope you are all as excited for Christmas as I am....(23 days, it's coming up so quick)!! I am going to take part in Blogmas which is basically just like Vlogmas (if you don't know what Vlogmas is, it is basically where you record what you get up to everyday of December) but without recording my everyday life, I'm just going to write different Christmas themed blog posts including DIYs, favourite product reviews, inspiration posts and many more.

For today's post since as it's the 1st, I wanted to give you guys some inspiration of how to decorate your home this season...
