Sweater Weather Tag

Hello you lovely lot!

Today I wanted to do something Christmasy so felt that this tag would be a good idea as it will help us to get to know each other a little bit more ...

1. Favourite candle scent? My favourite is sweat pea but in the winter there is a lovely scent my auntie bought me last year called Frankincense which is so lovely!

2. Coffee, tea, or hot chocolate? I don't like hot drinks but if I had to choose I would go for a home made hot coco - my grandma makes the best ones

3. What’s the best thing you have ever been given at Christmas? When I was around 4 or 5 we had Christmas at my grandparents and me and my sister were given a pink dolls house and it was the bestest thing ever
4. Which makeup trend do you prefer: dark lips or winged eyeliner? I love dark lips but hate that it makes me look unwell I think I need to keep searching for the right colour!
5. Best fragrance for Christmas? I think my yearly fragrance which is Ricci Ricci by Nina Ricci or Jo Malone Peony and blush suede (it is such a luxury but so bloody lovely)

6. Favourite Christmas food? The roast potatoes and chocolate log (am I allowed to say two things?)

7. What is autumn weather like where you live? Fab, it is crisp and sometimes icy but I love it because the leaves turn from green to yellow and then you get to spend more quality time with family and it's just a lovely time of the year

8. Most worn sweater? One from a charity shop which is maroon and is from Fruit of the Loom - it is so comfortable and cosy and cost so little
9. Must-have nail polish this fall? A light pink which is opaque enough that you can't see the lunula on your nail bed
10. Football games or jumping in leaf piles? I think both would be fun but I'll chose jumping in leaf piles
11. Skinny jeans or leggings? Mom jeans?
12. Combat boots or Uggs? Converse?

13. Is pumpkin spice worth the hype? I don't know but I love cinnamon
14. Favourite Christmas film? This is a horrible question! But I of course love Elf and I also would say Serendipity

15. What song really gets you into the Christmas spirit? I would say Santa Baby by Ariana Grande or All I want for Christmas is you by Maria Carey

Love you all heaps

Christmas Dipped Strawberries

Hello everyone, I can't believe it's Christmas tomorrow, where has December gone! Before you know it, it will be 2014. That's crazy! So, I've been doing a lot of baking today and wanted to show you how to make these easy Festive dipped strawberries. You can make these right now if you want to, they would make a lovely treat for your family...

You will need:
White Chocolate Buttons
Green Sprinkles
Strawberries (of course)
a Tray
Glass bowl
Saucepan
a few bowls

Instructions:
First, wash the strawberries
Then fill the saucepan with water and place the glass bowl on top, don't use too much water though, just enough to surround the bottom of the bowl.
Next, 'eye' how much white chocolate you want to melt. Stir until smooth.
After, dip the strawberries into the white chocolate then in to the green sprinkles.
Lastly place on a tray and put in the fridge until hard.
I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas!

Topshop Lipstick - Infrared

Hello there, Guess what?.....It's Christmas Eve eve today argh! I hope you have wrapped all your presents. Today, I wanted to do a review on Topshop's 'Infrared' Lipstick...

....First of all the packaging omg, it is so cute and feels really good quality especially as it has a really good price tag. The actual product is super pigmented and is such a beautiful burnt orange colour. In my opinion it is great for anytime of the year. Topshop lipsticks cost £8.00 and really if you think about it: a really pigmented lipstick; pretty packaging and a non-drying out consistency, this product is amazing value.

Have you tried out the Topshop Lipsticks?

Brownie in a Mug

Hey guys I hope your all well today I'm going to show you how to make a brownie in a mug!

You will need...
4 Tablespoons Flour
4 Tablespoons Sugar
2 Tablespoons Cocoa powder (don’t use anything that has sugar added to it)
2 Tablepsoons sunflower oil
2 Tablespoons Water
pinch of salt

Add the sugar, flour, cocoa, and salt to the mug and mix. Then add the oil and water and mix the dry and wet ingredients together. Be sure to be thorough, there’s a tendency for clumps of the dry ingredients to form.

Microwave on high for roughly a minute. You may have to microwave it longer or shorter, depending on your microwave, but the brownie should still be wet in the center when done.

Let me know if you made this?

Tissue paper flower

Hello, in my previous Blog post I shared some ideas for wrapping Christmas presents, but today I wanted to show you how to make these really simple and easy flowers to liven up any gift...

You will need:
tissues paper
scissors
elastic band or lunch bag tie
cello tape
mini stapler

Instructions:

Start by cutting out the tissue paper in to rectangles. Try out different sizes until your happy make sure you have about 6 to 8 sheets together.
Next fold the sheets altogether as if you were making a fan. One side, fold, flip, the other side, fold, flip etc.
Then use the elastic band or lunch tie to hold the middle.
Pull one side of the tissue to the other side and staple once, like so...

Pull one or two sheets of tissue up to create a crinkled effect. Do this until you have a voluptuous tissue flower.

I hope you had a great day!

5 Tips for a Stress Free Christmas

Is the idea of Christmas stressing you out?...well, here are a few tips to help you have a stress free time:

1. Think ahead

Know how many days you have left and plan different tasks to do each day, so that it's not a last minute panic.
2. Ask people what they want
Don't waste hours thinking of what to buy people, it's easier just to ask!
3. Shopping Online
Shopping from home avoids the crazy Christmas crowds and can save money at the same time.
4. Don't look for perfection
Nothing ever will be perfect so just relax and enjoy the Christmas spirit.
5. Make it fun
You can have so much fun making your own tree decorations, baking and watching Christmas movies.

This is what our Christmas Tree looks like this year

Lots of love
